Manuel — Spanish and Portuguese form of Emmanuel. In the spelling Μανουηλ (Manouel) it was also used in the Byzantine Empire, notably by two emperors.
Saintly namesake: Manuel González García was a Spanish bishop known for his dedication to the Eucharist and service to the poor. He was canonized in 2016 and is honored for his pastoral work. (January 4 · 20th century)
