namesprite helps you explore baby names using public birth-record data and etymology research. It’s provided as-is: we work hard on accuracy and say so when a meaning is uncertain, but we can’t guarantee every figure or derivation, and the app isn’t advice of any kind.

Your account is yours: keep your sign-in to yourself, and use the app for personal, non-commercial name hunting. Scraping or republishing the dataset wholesale isn’t allowed.

Pro purchases are one-time payments (a 9-month pass or a lifetime unlock), handled by our payment processor. If something goes wrong with a purchase, contact us and we’ll make it right.

We may update these terms as the product grows; meaningful changes will be noted here with a new date.
